Process flow of the RDP Firewall

• The AADS Firewall first looks at the incoming connection and sees if it is a IPv4 or IPv6 connection, and if IPv6 is allow and enabled. IPv4 is always enabled and allowed.
• Next the AADS Firewall test if it is a Public or Private IP Address.

Following the decision about Public or Private IP Address, the AADS Firewall decides about the connection based on the 8 Firewall Lists:

• Connect Rate Limit  
• Automatic Deny List
• Manual Deny List
• Spamhaus Drop List
• GeoIP Location  Allow List
• GeoIP Location  Deny List
• Temporary Blocked List
• Automatic Allow List
• Manual Allow List
