2FA: Invalid Barcode / Invalid URI

You attempt to scan the QR code with your Mobile. However, an error is shown stating something like "Invalid Barcode" or "Invalid URI".

The FIX:

• Make sure that the Number of Digits is 6, and try again.

Nr. of Digits

The Nr. of Digits determines the number of digits of the OTP code as it has to be entered by the user:

• It is recommended to use either 6 or 8 digits, because most Mobile Apps do handle either 6 or 8 digits correctly.
• Only "some" Mobile Apps are able to handle other number of digits, like 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, etc.
