Microsoft EDGE (Chromium based browser)

The following information is about the 'new' Microsoft EDGE browser that is based on the Chromium browser.
It is not possible the use the old, previous Microsoft EDGE browser that was included in the first releases of Windows 10.

Make sure that Microsoft Edge on the Client PC is uptodate.
Th procedure as described here has been done with Microsoft Edge Version 93.
Updating Microsoft Edge can be done by the Menu / Settings / About:

Allow site to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode:

On the Client PC: add the IP Address of the AADServer to the list of websites in "Local intranet".
In the example as shown here, the AADServer has the IP Address 192.168.200.100

Reload the website in Internet Explorer mode:

Make sure that the webpage is shown in "Compatibility View"

Microsoft EDGE might show a "suggestion" that working in "EDGE" is better then working in "Internet Explorer Mode".
Ignore this "suggestion": Active-X objects do require "Internet Explorer Mode".

When you click on the "Connect" button, a "Warning-Popup" about "Active-X" might appear:

Click on "Allow".
