Windows Eventlog

Before contacting us for support on AADS Terminal Server, be sure to first check and fix issues as they appear in the Windows Eventlog. The Windows Eventlog can be viewed as follows:

• Click on the Start Menu of Windows
• Open the Control Panel
• Open the Administrative Tools
• Click on the Event Viewer

In case there are "problems" in these Windows Eventlog, be sure to fix them. If you are not sure about the cause of these problems or how to fix them, please be advised to seek local IT-consultancy.

Example:

In the following example the network card "e1cexpress" does not work correctly. Due to this there are also other problem like failing DNS, Netbios and problems with the generic Windows Browsing functionality.
If the network card does not work correctly, AADS clients will fail to connect to the AADS Terminal Server.
