The trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed

This is not really a AADS Terminal Server issue. It is a generic Microsoft Domain related issue, and needs to be fixed at the domain controller.

Cause of this issue can be that the "specifications" of the AADS Terminal Server are different then before. For example:

• if you have a multi boot system, or
• if you did format a PC and installed Windows again, or
• installed a Service Pack on the PC,

then the domain server does notice a "different" PC then before and therefore does not accept or does not "trust" the PC anymore.

Solution

• Go to your domain controller.
• Search the AADServer. Press F5 or refresh a couple of times until you find the AADServer.
• Delete the AADServer.
• Press F5 or refresh a couple of times again, and make sure that the AADServer is deleted in the Domain.

Next

• Go to the AADS Terminal Server.
• Join the AADS Terminal Server to a Workgroup.

• The name of the Workgroup is not relevant. Enter for example the name WORKGROUP.
• Reboot the AADServer.

After the Reboot:

• Try to join the server again to the domain using AADS Maintenance Control

• Again the AADServer will be joined to the Domain.

On the Domain Controller this AADServer was "deleted". Now it will be "added" again in the Domain, "fresh en new" as if it has never been seen before on the Domain.
