8 Aug 2019: ChangeLog AADS Terminal Server (Build 164.8)

Maintenance Update

This is mostly a Maintenance Update with under-the-hood fixes based on support cases and ZIP Support Files we have received in the past period.

Bug fix

When using AADS Application Control (AADS Enterprise, AADS Classic ), when the user does a logoff, when there are active applications which do refuse to stop running, the session of the user would not always properly being terminated and logged off.

Bug fix

AADS Client for Windows did not remember the Load Balancing list from the Farm.

Bug fix

RDP+ File Transfer did sometimes crash.

Bug fix / Improvement

Windows Update in Windows 10 / Server 2016 / Server 2019 has changed, due to which AADS needs to fix / improve how it controls, stops and starts Windows Update . The impact of this bug is that the following list of Windows functions did not work anymore:

Bug fix

Client SSL Certificates do have Server Hostname in their name. The SSL gateway would not properly generate Client SSL Certificates if the Server Hostname was "too long".

Bug fix / Improvement

The Load Balancing Farm did re-transmit to many and to often UDP frames in case 2 or more Servers in the Farm also were running the SSL Gateway .

Bug fix

When AADS Optimize is used, when Cortana is disabled, the Cortana button on the Taskbar is removed.

Improvement

A "Start" and "Stop" button that can be used to (temporarily) Start-and-Stop Windows Update.

Improvement

When the look-and-feel Windows 10 - Panels and Tiles, is being used, it is possible for the user to start Applications by either a single or double mouse click on a Tile. Specifically for touch devices a single click might be desirable.
