RDP+ Client Build

RDP+ (Plus) offer extra Remote Desktop functionality to RDP Standard. RPD+ (Plus) is only available in an AADS Enterprise Terminal Server, and requires the use of the AADS Client software for Windows, Mac OSX and Linux.

Currently RDP+ offers the following benefit.

AADServer does also offer a built-in PDF / Postscript printer . The PDF / Postscript print files will be send to the client PC where they can be viewed and / or printed. This solution has the benefit that it avoids all those printer driver problems that can exist when attempting to print using RDP Standard.

Client software

RDP+ requires the AADS Client software on the client. You can easily build a Client Setup build for Windows, Mac OSX and Linux.

The result will be Setup-program(s), placed on the desktop of the Administrator.

See Client Software on HowTo use the Client Software.

Default RDP Settings

The Default RDP Settings will be included in the Client Build. When the User starts AADS Client for the first time, these default settings will be used by the Client software.

About this OSX.zip file, about X32 and X64.zip files for Linux

These ZIP files contain the client software for OSX and Linux. Be careful with manipulating these files on Windows. These ZIP files contain elements that are not known and understand by Windows. The elements are:

If you want to know more about the x-attribute, do study the "chmod" command as available on Linux and OSX.
If you want to know more about Links, do study the "ln" command as available on Linux and OSX.

It is OK to open en view the ZIP files, but it is NOT OK to change them in any way, using Windows.
If you change the ZIP files using Windows, those elements might be removed or damaged,
because Windows does not know and understand those elements,
resulting in ZIP Files that are not usable anymore on Linux and OSX,
resulting in client software that is not working anymore on Linux and OSX.
