RDP+ Client Update Manager

The RDP+ Client Update Manager runs on each Client PC, and takes care of the following:

AADS Client for Windows

RDP+ Client Update Manager for Windows is a separate service process. It is installed on the Client PC when AADS Client for Windows is installed.

AADS Client for OSX and Linux

AADS Client for OSX and Linux do have the same built-in RDP+ Client Update Manager, but it is not a separate process as it is on Windows. It is a built-in function of the AADS Client for OSX and Linux.

In order for the RDP+ Client Update Manager being able to do it's update-job, it is assumed that the OSX and Linux AADS Clients are installed as described in this Manual. In case the Administrator installs the AADS Clients in some different way, such that the AADS Clients do not have "read/write rights" to update itself, or for updating SSL certificates, the RDP+ Client Update Manager will log errors and no update will be done.
