Be carefull with an /all range

• An /all range on the Deny List implies that every IP Address is blocked.

The /all range can only be used as follows:

• Enter the right IP Addresses or right IP Ranges on the Manual Allow List .
• Enter the /all range on the Deny List
• The Manual Allow List overrules the Deny List
  • Only those Clients entered in the Manual Allow List will be allowed.
  • All other IP Addresses in the world, and all local IP Addresses, will be blocked.

The /all range should not be used with:

• Geo IP Location Allow and Deny List
• Failed Logon List
• Temporary Blocked list

because these Firewall Lists are over-ruled by the Manual Allow List.

• The Range 0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255 denotes all IPv4 addresses.
• The Range 0:: to FFFF:FFFF:FFFF:FFFF:FFFF:FFFF:FFFF:FFFF denotes all IPv6 addresses.

The Deny List does completely block every IPv4 and IPv6 address. Only those on the Allow List will be allowed (because the Allow List overrules all other Lists)
