$aad Common Programs
When using the Optimize or Default Applications and Set procedure, the set "$aad Common Programs" is created as a collection with default programs. This set can not be assigned to an user or a group.
Selecting
Use Keyboard

When the cursor is in the Icon-column, use the Space-key for selecting / de-selecting a Set.
Use Mouse
Expand / Collapse
Each Set or all Sets can shown be Expanded / Collapsed.

Enter a string in the Searchbox. Appearances of the Search-string will be highlighted.

Zoom-in, Zoom out

Use the Zoom button to toggle between Zoom-in / Zoom-out:
Export 1 or more Sets with Applications

Select 1 or more Sets

Save the selected Sets in an INI-file:
Import 1 or more Sets with Applications
Assign 1 or more Sets to an User or Group
Use Keyboard and / or Mouse to assign Applications

Click on the Assign-button. The selected Set(s) will be assigned to the selected User / Group:

Note:
- Sets can be assigned to 1 or more Users.

Sets can be assigned to 1 or more Groups.

Sets can be assigned to 1 or more Sets, as a sub-Set. At maximum Sets can be assigned up to 5 levels deep.

The result for the User is as follows:
Add new Set(s)
Use Keyboard and / or Mouse to add new, empty Rows
Delete Set(s)

Select 1 or more Set(s)

When the Set(s) contain assigned Applications, deleting the Set implies that all assigned Applications will be removed from the Set(s). The Set itself is not deleted.
Use the "Delete Set" button:
- The Set(s) will be made empty, as in, all assigned Applications will be removed from the Set(s)

The Set(s) will be deleted from Users and / or Groups.

When the Set(s) contain no Applications, deleting the Set implies that the Set(s) will be deleted:

Set Properties
Sets do have 2 properties.
Property: Icon
When no custom Icon is assigned to the Set, the default Icon of for Sets will be shown and used in the Start Menu of the user.
Customizing the Icon

Double-click on the Icon, or,

Select the Icon and use the Enter-key or F3-key, or,

Use the Browse-button

Select a custom Icon:
Deleting the custom Icon
Deleting the Icon implies that the custom Icon will not be used anymore, and that the default Icon for Sets will be shown and used in the Start Menu of the user.

Select the Icon, using the mouse or cursor-keys:

Use the Delete-key:
Property: Display Name
Editing the Display Name

Double click the Display Name, or,

Use the Enter-key for editing the Display Name, or,

Use the Edit-button:

When a Display Name starts with $, the Set is created by AADServer, or by the Administrator, for administrative purposes.
Such a Set can contain applications, can be exported and imported, but can not be assigned to a User, Group or Set.
# Comment
Text behind # is treated as comment and will not appear in the Start Menu of the User.
Example:
The text #Users does explain to the Administrator that this Control Panel is for the Users.
The text #Users itself does not appear / is not shown to the Users:
Execute an Application

Select an Application and click on the Execute button:
