Start Menu: AADServer theme

• AADS Start Menu's can be shown in a Single Column or with Sub Menu's
• AADS Start Menu's can be positioned in each corner of the Desktop.

Single Column

• The whole Start Menu is shown in a single Column.
• Sub Menu's are shown by expanding the small arrow.

Position of the Start Menu

With Explorer

If the User has Windows Explorer assigned, the position of the Start Menu is not determined by AADS Application Control, but it is determined by the position of the Windows TaskBar.

The User can change the position of the Taskbar by "drag-and-dropping" the Taskbar where he/she wants to have the Taskbar.
It is also possible to use a Taskbar Settings tool that is available when installing AADServer:

• A tool and shortcut for "Taskbar Settings" is placed in the "Accessories" menu:

Without Explorer

If the User has not Windows Explorer assigned, the position of the Start Menu is determined by AADS Application Control.

Note: the Users do not have Explorer assigned in this example.

If the Administrator has assigned Start Menu Settings (AADServer) to the User, the User can change the position of the Start Menu:

• Exit: leave this dialog without doing any settings.
• Apply: leave this dialog while applying the settings.
• Default: revert back to the global, default settings as done by the Administrator.
